In a remarkable display of camaraderie and sportsmanship, the Rotaract and Interact Clubs of Rotary International District 3810 came together for their annual sports festival on February 2, 2014, hosted at the prestigious University of Makati. Spearheaded by the Rotary Club of University District Manila, the event marked a memorable celebration of athletic prowess and community spirit.
The occasion commenced with District Governor Karen Tamayo, accompanied by FCP Mark Tan and various Rotary presidents, taking the lead in the symbolic torch lighting ceremony. The esteemed CP/DRRN Alexiz Tan contributed to the event's opening ambiance with a solemn invocation, while DRR Vincent Roman administered the Oath of Sportsmanship, setting the tone for a fair and spirited competition. Guiding the proceedings were distinguished individuals, including PP Wilson Lei, Dir. Anne Pere, and DRRE Syl Co, who played pivotal roles in facilitating the event. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of the Sportsfest 2014, leaving participants and attendees with lasting memories of unity and friendly competition. Filled with lots of fun activities and excitement in Chinoy Strip an event that gathers people to personally experience different aspects of being CHINOY – values, culture, traditions and beliefs; Cooking Show, Cultural Show during the Chinoy Got Talent the entertainment of students from different Chinese schools, Chinoys and lion/dragon exhibition, the spectacular fireworks display that light up the night sky of SM by the Bay in welcoming the year of the horse, and followed by the major event of the night, the Chinoy Star Ka Na! in partnership with VehneeSaturno Music Training Center. Featuring the grand finals / showdown of 5 finalist of CHinoy Star Ka na with special participation and performances of Star Magic / Star Records artists namely Jovit Baldivino, Bugoy Drilon, Liezel Garcia, Marcelito Pomoy, and KZ Tandingan respectively. The Chinoy Hao Bang 好棒 on its 3rd Year of celebrating Chinese New Year is made possible through partnership of The Rotaract Club of Chinatown - Manila, Chinoy TV, Confucius Institute at Ateneo de Manila, SM Mall of Asia and various Filipino-Chinese associations. It was full of fun, performances, excitement, fellowship, and Christmas gift for everyone. The event features some wonderful performances of the New Generations from Mindoro. YES! It was truly an amazing and superb performances of them. Also a Christmas carol which was participated by everyone. The event ended with a singing of a Christmas song.

The club is urging everyone to participate in the "Bottle of Hope" campaign, an innovative fundraising approach where individuals can fill a 1.5 L bottle with monetary contributions, similar to a personal piggy bank. The collection period extends from October to December 7, 2013. The accumulated funds will be utilized to purchase toys for the children and Christmas goodies for the respective foundations.
