District Secretary Edison “Magic” Ong gave his inspirational message to the newly formed rotaract club, he had shared some of his past experiences and learning on how was it really like when he was still a rotaractor decades ago. His stories had truly instilled inspiration and motivation to the minds of the rotaractors. District Rotaract Chair Victor Lao was also present during the ceremony. Of course, the Rotaract Club of Chinatown –Manilawill not be successfully initiated without the hard work and willpower of the club’s president, Mr. John Alexiz Tan. Mr. Tan have already enriched his leadership skills by joining various organizations and youth involvement programs. As a matter of fact, aside from being the president of this club, he currently holds high-leadership positions in other organizations as well. Burning with passion and determination, he truly believes that he, together with the club’s officers and members, can successfully lead RAC Chinatown –Manilato fulfill its vision and mission. Officers and Members of RAC Chinatown-Manila spearheaded the said event. The pinning of club pins was a significant start. The start of the journey of these young individuals had officially begun. As for the celebration of Mid-autumn Festival, the club service committee with the help and support of fellow officers of the club organized the mooncake fellowship dice game and everyone were truly in high spirits while playing, especially to those who had never played such game until that day. The game was spiced up more, for every table there’s a gift certificate from the event’s Sponsor; Yellow Cab. Furthermore, the grandest winner shall be granted an overnight stay and breakfast for two ( 2 ) at the Ilang Ilang Cafe, Manila Hotel. We thank these two ( 2 ) generous sponsors, for without them the event would not be as stirring as it is.
